How about that Colorado? Beautiful state, some one once told me, "Colorado is for
people who like weather. It's true, they get some weather , you name it hail, rain snow
in July, awesome, if you like weather.
You know what also Colorado is for? It's for people who like to smoke pot.
You could say that about California too, but it seem like California is more for
if you like cars
You know how hard it is to stop smoking pot if you live in Colorado? It's like impossible.
I pretend to smoke there. They give me a bowl and I pretend to smoke it like Clinton
So, I've been living in Colorado, by way of NY. Still have that NY driving attitude
But with Colorado plates, kind of cool I think. Can't say I care much for driving
in Los Angeles. A zillion people with Porsches. I dig cutting them off though in my
92' Subaru. I cut them off, and you know , when they come up again in another lane,
there's so much traffic here, pointless to drive aggressively, but I'm from NY so what
are you gonna do?
Anyway, they come up to pass, and I look out the window at them like "what's up",
and they are all on their cell phone, wont even look over. In NY you cut someone
off like the way I do and the guy is going to follow you for a couple of exits,
just to make sure you see them flip you off.
Maybe it's me, maybe they really are that laid back here,
maybe they really are that cool, don't' think so.
But I like NY, it's real. There is this one comic that really sums it up.
The guy's name is Callahan, with a C or a K I forget.
He has this one frame split screen drawing.
On the left side are 2 guys in trench coats passing each other on the street,
it's raining, and it says on the top NY.
The pass each other and they say "Fuck you" to each other, but they are thinking in the
bubbles "have a nice day". The other side it says LA, it's sunny, 2 guys in Bermuda shorts
are passing each other, they say "Have a nice day" to each other, but they are really thinking
in the bubbles "Fuck you".
Maybe further north, in Oregon they truly are that mellow. But mellow for me.
They're so laid back there, they may as well not have back bones.
Everything is "Right Onnn",
I always thought that if we ever got invaded from the coast line up there they'd be like
"Right Onn".
If you mess with NY were gonna take out your country.
